In response to Luke's video about a network solution for renters I thought I'd throw up some pics of what I've been running for a bit.

-Linksys WRT 1900AC V1.0 (DD-WRT installed)

-Motorola SB6141

-Linksys SE1500 10/100 switch (not really used, just for added ports if I really needed them)

-Toshiba 1.5tb extetnal HDD setup as network attached storage

-And an older Brother printer set up as a print server.

I've used this setup for a couple houses, and tearing it down and moving it is a breeze. The conduit I ran myself, my landlord doesn't care if I do electrical work to the house. I do plan on setting up something a little more bonified in the future, but this is does just fine for what I use now.

Lol yeah, I used to work for them before they fell apart. I stole the rug when I left.

Ha ha. I miss the stores near me. I liked that place.

So do I, the nearest thing like them near me is a Micro Center 2 hours away and a small fab lab almost an hour away that keeps some components in stock but most the time they have to order it. So, if I need something I don't have on hand I have to try to find a decent quality one online. When Radioshack closed I went to every store in the area I bought as many parts as I could at 90% off.
