My first big build, help me out.

First off this is my first big pc build that i will keep for the next 4 to 6 years.

I'm kinda a nubnub at picking pc parts so i'm not sure if i picked the right parts but here's the build i put together https://pcpartpicker.com/list/qwjczM,

yes i know I just picked parts like a little kid hoping they would go together, that's why i need your help on improving this build to the point that the build I'm going for won't struggle to play the games that will be coming out for the next couple of years, help me choose a better cpu cooler, a better gpu if you have a better idea, a better motherboard cause i think i won't need that high end asus motherboard and lastly I'll leave the storage completely up to you (2tb of storage is enough for me) because I kinda went bananas on the storage (sry I'm completely clueless).

My aim with this build is a little bit of everything, from gaming to making videos of triple A titled games.

These are the problems I have

1.I live in the philippines, specific components will be hard to find.

2.I'm completely clueless of what I'm doing, I just got into pc gaming a few years ago.

As for monitors help me out too, I'd like to play in 2560x1440p but please do tell me if I'm going too far off here.

As for pheriperals I've got it covered.

As you can see my Acc is new because i just joined, I really need help cause I havent got a clue in what parts should I go for.

Help would really much be appreciated, thanksssss :)

I'd get a Ryzen 7 1700, and the GPU looks good. And a 1080 Ti will kill any game in 1440p, and can even spit out high fps at 4K.

You don't need a 1080ti for 1440p gaming or anything but 4k

try a 1070

If the OP has the money, I'd say to stick with the 1080 Ti, as it'll help down the road when he tries to run the latest games:

Oh, and the storage is totally overkill. You don't really need 2TB of blazing SSD, but if you can afford it, why not?

It's not cost efficient at all, but it works.

If you want mass storage, just be a normal person and get a HDD instead of spending another $400 on a SSD.

On top of that, get a less expensive motherboard and the Corsair RM550x. You do not need 1000W for a GTX 1080Ti. Use the extra money on a decent cooler.

If you spend your money wisely, it's very possible to have a i7 7700K w/ SLI GTX 1080Tis with that sort of budget.

Okay here's what i got in mind

Make me a build in pcpartpicker that can play in 1440p and 80+fps and with reasonable parts that go together much better,

as I've got no clue in what I'm doing.

Sorry to bother but thanksss.

You've still got room in the budget to add RGB strips if that's your thing, get a fancier mobo, maybe an aftermarket cooler if you want to do and extreme OC (Though the wraith cooler that comes with the Risen 7 is excellent and can handle a decent OC). Or we can take off the RGB RAM, fans, etc and cut it down to the cheapest possible. Also, with r7 + 1080 Ti, you'll be running the latest games at 1440p for quite a bit, and even at 4K for a couple years.

EDIT: We could even put in a normal 1TB drive and bust it down to a 1080, but if you can afford it, I say go big or go home!

Two builds right around your $3000 price point one is $200 more but looks a lot nicer imo and has a chance at better oc. They are both r7 1700 with sli 1080ti.. honstly sli is most the time not worth if but hey if you got the money and you want to go for it.

Cheaper build

https://pcpartpicker.com/user/cowpker4life/saved/cWXrHx

More expsivve

https://pcpartpicker.com/user/cowpker4life/saved/mnngsY

And I'll throw in a non sli build as well if you are not going to sli

https://pcpartpicker.com/user/cowpker4life/saved/Tx8BmG

You can always go with a cheaper mobo or ram or case or psu or whatever. Pick stuff that would fit your bugget and look very apearling hopfully but If looks and some other the other fetuses don't matter to you at all you can get a 1080ti sli buid with a 1700 for something aroind the 2400 price point or so. Just keep in mind 3000 or 3200mhz ram is ideal for ryzen as faster ram is better but to much faster then that the cpu can't handle the oc and it gets expsivne pretty fast. Also all 1080ti's wI'll be around the same fps just some are a little colder some and quiter then others or have more display ports or some other features on them. If you are not going to be doing much video editing or very low end a i7 7700k will give more fps in games then ryzen atm as well.

do you already have a 4k monitor that will run 144hz because if you dont there is no point in building a PC that high end if you are gonna buy a 60hz 1440p monitor. expect a 4k monitor to be in excess of $1100
