GTX1080 Windforce Temps

G'day!

Just bought myself a fancy new pc, 7700k, 32 gb ram, 1080 Windforce.. ect..

When playing games and stuff, my gpu gets up to 82 degrees Celsius and in a Furmark stress test it got up to 89 degrees, keep in mind that this is all with a custom fan curve coming on pretty quick because I live in a hot area. I've just come from an old AMD card that used to max out at 76 degrees, and i had an old fanless nvidia 9800gt that used to get to 100, so, is it just an nvidia thing that they get that hot? or is there something else going on?

As it turns out...
its all down to case airflow!
I took the side panel off the case and ran Furmark and didnt get anywhere near the heat in it. 

So i've added 2 more fans and changed my pwm settings and its more co-operative...

God damn Thermaltake View 27... I knew there was trade offs for gpu mounting
