Hi guys I have been playing lots of Borderlands 2 recently and have noticed FPS drops to 10! I run an MSI 660 Ti PE and I know people were having problems like this when the game was first released, but I never had problems until this last month? Does anyone have any suggestions/experience with this problem? BTW I have tried lowering and raising my graphics settings, and the FPS still drops to around 15 when I'm facing enemies.

I've been having FPS drops as well, mainly within the DLC levels. I've checked the forums and it is definitely a problem with the game itself.

It could be that games were not originally made for PC, but ported to PC. I don't know if this claim is worth any merit, but I've noticed the games that I play with some to frequent FPS drops are games also released on PS3 and 360. I've never had any FPS problems with any indie games.

I get this problem as well' date=' using a 7970 stock, pretty sure it's an engine problem, but I haven't looked around. You might be able to find something on the Gearbox forums.[/quote']

I have a 7970 as well, at 1200MHz. I play a ton of Borderlands 2 and have never had these issues.

OP, if you are using PhysX on high this may be what is causing your FPS drop.
