An r7 1700 would be a lot better for streaming and video editing.

That really doesn't matter unless all that background stuff is actually executing code. Most background stuff just sits idle, waiting for user input.

 

I agree Ryzen R7 would likely be better for video editing.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Cooler- Cheaper yet around the same performance.

OS- WX can be bought for cheap from Kinguin (Note: if you have WX already you do not need to buy a license)

nice build. i can get the crosshair motherboard for around $194 so i might spend extra money for a 1700x

Don't get the 1700x. If you overclock with the stock cooler, you can get the same speeds as the 1800x.
