My EVGA 1080 Hybrid just started doing this after a few months and it will not output anything to the screen. (It was working great.)

I was hoping someone would have an idea but I can send it back if I have to.

RMA is probably your only hope.

May I question as to whether or not you still have of a warranty/guarantee for such dedicated GPU? You should contact EVGA, as that card can't be more than a few months old now, and EVGA are pretty good for customer support I would say.

Meanwhile, make sure it is seated correctly in it's PCI slot, and check over your PSU with making sure your GPU power connectors are in correctly. May I ask what those loud clicks were? If they weren't you, then that is nearly 100% you not having put a power cable in correctly like the CPU ones & so forth.

I once did the unthinkable, back many headphones ago...

I split an audio split, again

I am positive it is seated correctly and the connectors are properly connected. The clicking was the PSU switch.
