I have a budget of roughly £700 pounds. I want to get a new laptop/PC. I am currently thinking about either getting an ASUS Chromebook flip C302 ( From amazon.com as its cheaper) or building my own PC. I have never built a system before and, until recently, viewed computers as arcane magic. I do not mind the limitations of Chrome OS but wouldn't mind using windows. Please help me decide. A PC part picker link would be nice as well as information on what mode of the C302 I should go for. If possible an SSD would be nice and I prefer AMD but don't really care

P.S. Does anyone have any experience using Google Clouds platform free $300 to run  a VM to code in.

can you give a good PC part picker link please

What would you use it for? Does it need to be portable? In that build, would you need the monitor, OS and peripherals?
