Temp going up

Tjampen

Hey guys.

I have a littlle problem this morning, when i woke up and turned my pc on then it were alot louder than it used to be, i figured that was just once so i restarted but the same thing happened. Then i looked at my temperature meter on my motherboard and it said it was on 70-80, when it's usally on 50-60. But if i let it stay a little while on the desktop without doing anything then it goes down, but if i open a program like Chrome then it goes up around the 70-80 again, can somone tell me what the problem is or have any idea about it?

Thanks in advance

Are you overclocked? Air or liquid cooled?

Is there anything that runs in the task manager that could take system resources?

Please mention or quote me if you want a response. :)

Just wonder if something got messed up very unlikely though, have you tried resetting your bios?

If that doesn't work I would try re mounting your cooler of putting new thermal paste on.

Have you tried to turn off the system and unplug the PSU, wait 15 seconds and then boot up once again.

Please mention or quote me if you want a response. :)

Either a button on the motherboard, an option in bios to reset, every bios has this it or pull the cmos battery out for a couple minutes.

So i am back, unplugged the psu waited 15 seconds, didn't work, resetted my bios, didn't work. And now my temp meter on my motherboard is going even more crazy with 80-90 :o and still constantly loud

Do you still have warranty on your motherboard?

Please mention or quote me if you want a response. :)

Really stupid question from me, your cooler is on liquid cooling right? Is your pump working?

Its the temperature on his motherboard, not CPU.

Those could be just sensors malfunctioned. Its not that uncommon, though this is first time I've heard the broken midway. Not from the box. Mobo components can take temps up to 110C... so...

@Tjampen, could you post screenshot of the readings? And have you tried if whole thing crashes during some stress testing?
