So I currently have the Corsair Graphite 780t I love it except for the riveted optical drive cage, and also the plastic window. By the second week I had the case, I was already starting to see scratches in the window. I am getting ready to do a  custom watercooled loop. So I need a case that is large with good radiator support. By profession I am a window washer, so having a very clear and clean window is important to me. For me at this point its glass or go home. So my options are to either mod the case and have a custom glass pane made, or to find another case with a tempered glass. After looking around for cases with glass I found a few cases with glass panes, but they had rather odd intakes for fans that have me confused.

As you can see the first has a glass pane ontop of the front fan intake, the Be Quiet has some kinda side air intake. I would imagine it would be difficult for the fans to pull air around the glass/side vents to push cool air on to the radiator. Would this have a large impact on the radiators, and possibly make the average water temp warmer? I'm not even sure what you call this type of air intake design, so I am not even sure how to properly research it.
