I'm planing to swap my old HD7950 to a GTX1070 and I'm struggling to choose between the Corsair CX650m and Antec HCG 620m.

My current spec:

I5 4670K @4.2Ghz <-- will also be swapped out in about 1-2 years with an I5 K edition CPU

Cooler Master Nepton 280L

HD7950 OC <-- which is gonna be swap with a 1070 and I'm gonna OC it

Plextor m6s 256GB

2HDD

Antec HCG 520m

Since both my computer are using Antec PSU which have worked for several years and doing good without firing my parts and causing a nuclear explosion, I've never tried corsair PSU and want I want the recommendations from you guys.

(Or my current 520m will work just fine?)

Links to the PSU spec for your convenient:

The voltage regulation of the Antec HCG-M isn't "great" in the grand scheme of things, but it is among the better performing units of this design. If you already have the Antec, you don't need to purchase a new PSU. The 520M is fine for your system.

I think u dont need to change your psu at all pal.

Thoughts? @STRMfrmXMN @Starelementpoke ?

Am i correct? his HCG 520m is a great psu nice build quality, great load regulation and ripple suppression.

Fyi corsair and antec didnt make psu..your psu is made by seasonic which is the OEM of antec.

So my current 520m is great for 1070+future generation i5? Since I'm gonna overclock both of them.

Your i5 plus a 1070 will use less than 300W under OC'd load. I'd not upgrade to another i5 down the line since the only real difference will be IPC and an i7 on the Haswell platform would probably produce a much more noticeable difference in gaming and such, especially in 2 years.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
