Hello

I'm having troubles with my PC, it's a custom built and, yes, I have already searched the forum: Found some siliraityes but no solutions and all old threads.

So I'm starting a New one, horray.

CPU: I74970k (artic Freezer Xtreme)

MOBO: Asus Maximus Hero VII, latest BIOS 3201

RAM: 16bg Kingston HyperX HX316C10F/8

GPU: Zorac 1070 AMP (Before was ROG Radeon R9270x)

PSU: Seasonic M12II 750w (i know it's overpowered)

SSD: Kingston SSD NOW v300 120GB

HDD: 1 TB & 3 TB HHD probably WD gblue and green

CASE: CM Storm Stryker

OS: Win 10 64bit

So, basically my PC had some weird problems that I suppose belong to the MOBO

Frontal USB3 does not work and disconnect if you use an USB3 device, fine with USB2

Random shutdown, no high temps, no loads, it shutdown completely randomly, even in full IDLE.

I have already sent my PSU to RMA, it was faulty and they swapped to a new one, still during the process I've purchased another PSU (Corsair this time 650w) and it was fine for a week, then replaced with the new seasonic and started to shutdown again. So I bring back the Corsair and guess what? Still shutdown even with this PSU.

Then I upgraded my GPU from Radeon 9270X to 1070, still shuttiong down

Disks SMART is OK for all of them

Installed fresh win 10 almost 4 times

Still no overheating for any of the components

Now sometimes my connection get weird and stop working partially, I still have access to YT, and google search, but anything else goes nuts, time out. But if I try to ping for example amazon.com ping is ok, but web browsing not. Even the modem is unaccessibile via browser but pings. Tried to swap ethernet cables with my Mac, the connection is fine. Reboot doesnt solve, boot on a linux distro via USB seems so.

Checked temps and voltages with OOCT and crash logs with WhoCrashed?, no logs, no BSOD, no surge protection warnings. Just a clean shutdown.

Ok now that I have explained, can somebody tell me if there is a way to test the MOBO? Of course memtest didnt revealed anything, but I tried to swap and alternate my RAM anyway.

Also I'm wondering of selling out mobo and replace keeping my CPU or going directly to a new socket and screw DDR3.

Thanks for your time, waiting for a reply.

Best regards

PS probably there will be some mispells and errors around, I tryed to be crystal clear as much as possible, but probably I have made a mess xD
