So been rebuilding my computer with a different motherboard so I can downsize cases and been running into issues where it just boots up and instantly shuts off and repeats that cycle. I don't want to jump to the motherboard being dead yet and try and troubleshoot everything else as i don't think it is as when i bought it came in good looking condition as was packaged pretty well. Pretty frustrated so please help if you can!

Computer specs:

Intel Core i7 3770K

Asus P8Z77-M Pro (Old motherboard was a Asus P8Z77-V With 3/4 RAM slots dead so i can only run max 1x8GB which is annoying but also my fault.)

1X8GB Kingston Fury

Geforce GTX 660Ti

OCZ Z Series 850W (80+ Gold)

CoolerMaster Masterbox Lite 3

Troubleshooting that i have done already:

-Tried different working RAM 1x4GB stick

-Resetting CMOS by removing battery.

-Updated BIOS using USB stick

-Having nothing connected except CPU, PSU, 1 stick of RAM

-Tried it outside the case

My PSU was working perfectly fine when i took it apart so i don't see why it would be incompatible as the motherboards are basically the same and are from the same generation but planning to try a different one.

UPDATE:

I put together my old rig again and it still works 100%. It may be motherboard but it did BIOS update fine so idk. I'm going to grab a different processor and build a different rig together to see if it works. Again though if anyone has any ideas let me know!
