why an x370 board? and 200$ XD.

I know he could get a B350, but this board is on of the best on the market right now and will provide great and stable overclocks, but if he isn't gonna overclock then i will fix the list to a B350M to save some money

any b350 mobo can overclock just as well as any x370 board. the whole reason for x370 boards are for more features which im pretty sure he doesn't want or need.

Don't get AMD for gaming get it only if you game and do productivity stuff otherwise for pure gaming go with Intel that's the best option. For Ryzen 5 or i5, I prefer Ryzen 5 due to best bang for the buck but i7 or Ryzen 7 definietly i7.

oh I forgot to say, before buying parts from what is listed on pcpart picker look at b&h photo as depending on where you live they charge no tax and free shipping. Also jet is having a thing right now for 15% off first 3 orders. "30$ max discount"

nvm im stupid

Also, the list M.A.P's made have a lot of wrong parts

- Bad motherboard and ram

- A locked CPU (no overclocking) and no CPU cooler

- Bad case and PSU (Power Supply Unit)

- Bad SSD, also you said you already have one

Just keep that in mind, if you want an intel PC let me know and I will make a good build for you with better parts at the same price or less

Guys dont build a PC before Vega comes! We know currently that something will be announced around 16th May. Vega might fit this build and if it is going to be slightly faster or the same as 1080 then it might be a better choice just because of FreeSync monitors price.

1. Bad mobo? Seriously? From past 2-3 years every mobo manufacturer is maintaining very good quality what is bad in that board. The RAM is not at all bad.

2. I'll add overcloakable cpu as he doesn't require storage. But OCable CPU with GTX 1070 or locked cpu with 1080. I would prefer 1080 for sure.

3.The case looks are not good but not the quality, the looks are not bad but decent. You're saying that a Tier-3 PSU is bad? Are you expecting me to add a Tier 1 psu?

4. The SSD is not bad but sure you can spend 5-10 $ more and get better ssd. I partially agree with you here.

With that cooler you can get pretty good oc results like maybe you can expect 4.5-4.8 ghz. For now 8GB should be fine you can add another 8GB stick in future. Even for Video Editing 8GB should be OK but is definitely better with 16GB but for now you should be fine with it. The case is upgraded too, this one looks amazing but is just 35$.
