Temps are fine, what overclock/voltage are you running at? I usually aim for 90ºc or so in P95, which generally leads to 75ºc under more realistic loads.

EDIT: 80ºc~ at only 4.2ghz? ouch.

My Man Dj again :)
Slowly but surely i have to start to pay u my friend :D Thank you for all ur answers.

Btw: I did run Prime only for about 15mins and i think i heard arctic silver 5 needs a long time until it reaches the full potential/best temps so is it possible that the Themps could go down in the near future?

Well those temp are under 90°C so it should be fine.

I'm sure your temps won't get that high while doing normal daily tasks like gaming and maybe some editing.

I guess max temp will be around 70-75°C during long hours of doing those normal tasks.

But yeah ... i7 7700k is running hot. If you want to do any serious OC, you should delid it.

Yeah delidding is a bit risky. It's kinda safe if you are using delidding tools, but still .... only KINDA safe xD

You can try to lower the voltages and overclock a bit, and you also have some more thermal headroom to play with if you want.
