Ethernet Cable Not Detected

Just built My new computer, and my z270e Strix mobo inst detecting my Ethernet cable, even with drivers installed. Dont know what to do

Check device manager and make sure under Network adapters, there isnt anything with a question mark next to it.

already did. This is seriously bugging me

You need the drivers if this is a fresh install. I don't know too many boards that contain the base drivers on a chip for injection into Windows.

Is the Ethernet being detected by the router or switch? Do you have another cable?

I've had the same problem before turns out sometimes Ethernet cables will just up and break...
