New 8.1 Pro Boot?

Go to solution Solved by Matsy,

It doesn't accept my product key. Which is originally an 8 pro upgrade so I might partition windows 7 to try again

Then use the second link and trick it into letting you download 8.1 with your 8 key.

Basically start the windows 8 download, quit it when it gets to 1% (top right X button) then start up the 8.1 one from the download page and it will download it.

Then at the end select install by creating media, and click USB flash drive.

I have windows 8.1 pro currently installed from a upgrade key and I was wondering how I would make a new bootable usb for a fresh install?

I couldn't find anyway as it doesn't let me as I already have it installed.

Any help would be much appreciated.
