ok so I have a few questions to ask but first off let me explain my situation.

I bought a gaming PC for $100 with fairly good specs (except for the graphics card) and it had 32gb or dominator ddr3 ram in it (8gbx4) so I have a few questions.

1 do I need 32gb of ram? like if I downgrade to 16gb would it dramatically affect anything

2 if I were to take 16gb out and try to sell them so I can get better parts how much should I sell them for?

and 3 since they are a 32gb kit would breaking up the kit effect anything or would it be just like having a 16gb kit?

1. Depends what you're doing. For gaming, you don't need 32GB, 16GB is more than enough. You'd see no difference in performance

2. Check what the going price is for 16GB of RAM used in your country and aim it around there.

3. It wouldn't affect anything, it would function as normal but with 16GB instead of 32GB.
