I run 3 1440p monitors powered by Titan XP SLI. My pc worked great for the last month, however now randomly the monitors go black and the SLI bridge led also goes black indicating the gpus have shut off. The PC keeps running and playing audio for around 10 more seconds before locking up. This happends randomly but usually during a game loading or a few seconds after closing a game this is not my PSU as if its overloaded it shuts off the whole pc. Any ideas on whats going on?

It could still be the PSU. The Titans will have by far the highest power draw of any component in your system, so the PSU can suffer a bad drop in power output and fail to power the GPUs while still powering other components. Not saying this is likely, but just to eliminate it as a possibility. What make and model is it?

It could also be a fault with the VRM on one of the cards, which would cause both to shut off when linked by SLI. Have you tried testing the cards individually?

My PSU is a corsair AX1500i I run 4 way SLI using a driver hack which never gave me problems before or with 3 way my load consumption is around 1350w it seems to only happen whenever the voltage spikes or drops EG a game closing and its returning to idle speeds or a game loading and the cards go into 3d clocks I cant really test a different PSU but I can try running just 2 way and see if that helps
