So in another post I talked about how i'll be upgrading everything but my gpu. Although when it comes to ram, Assuming I'm going to be gaming, streaming, and recording. While doing all my own editing and rendering etc. How much would the speed of ram impact my performance, Should I just go for 2400Mhz, or will paying extra for something like 3200Mhz actually be worth it.

Ryzen, I plan on getting a 1700x and at this moment of time I'm thinking the ASUS ROG Crosshair VI Hero

Ryzen seems to actually benefit from faster ram, so if you can get a 2933/3000 MHz kit that would probably  be optimal.

Then I would personally go for the faster ram because ryzen benefits from faster speed ram.

Alright, So since i know very little about ram, any recommendations? To be honest I was just going to go with 2x16gb Corsair sticks. But like I said, I know very little

Go with the G Skill Flare X Ryzen Memory, it is the best optimised for overclocking on ryzen.

Look at the list they compiled of what ram they have that officially supports ryzen, make sure you have a model number that matches.

MSY are pretty shit in regards to warranties and customer service. I don't recommend them. Well at least in Sydney.

Assuming I was going to just be doing what I said in the first post, streaming recording editing rendering etc. Would 64gb do very much, or is 32gb more than enough

I mainly just use them because of good prices, everytime something has gone wrong they've cleared it up right then and there, and once again, the prices/sales

Also I should bring up that I'm kind of going for a nice aesthetic for my build. So the G.skill rgb lineup and the avexir look quite appealing to me...
