I haven't seen it in my life, but I have a good feeling. Something like this would be important if you are, lets say, putting a 1080p image on a 4K screen. The image would have scaling issues in some areas, making it look weird.

Maybe I will be doing that. I will be recording gameplay in 4k 60fps if this card supports as its mentioned and my facecam in 1080p 60

full screen a 1080p image would cause it to stretch but why buy a device when you can just lower the resolution of the 4k screen to 1080?. If you set a game in full screen to 1080 it will automatically lower the screen resolution to match.

then you'll have to play at 4k. Up scaling 1080 to 4k isn't going to look good.
