Glass conversion

So i have a Cooler master elite 430 with a beat up side panel window. So i painted the whole case and now i want to make the window glass. I have extracted glass from an old printer. And my question is: What kind of glass do printers use i cant easily cut tempered glass. So is it normal glass? I'must running is circles now and i think I'm  done. Any info is appreciated.

i mean you can use any glass but they use tempered glass as its a lot longer so as long as you treat your pc like a new born child it will be fine
