Windows sensitivity

So I was thinking about my eventual move to 4k and mouse sensitivity changing with different resolutions because of the more pixels. I use 1800 dpi, my mouse goes u to 2500. Most games now use degrees to measure sensitivity So changing my resolution to 4k won't affect that. But I was wondering about Windows itself, I don't want to change my mouse dpi but I want it to feel the same as it does now. But changing windows sensitivity apparently messes with things if it's not 6/11. so can I have the seemingly same sensitivity on Windows in 4k as I do now in 1080p

I would guess that does not refer in any way to a certain amount of pixels, so, in theory, leaving everything as it is should maintain the same speed across different resolutions

you can change it in windows. somewhere in control panel there is "mouse", check those options

EDIT: oh, sorry, i havent noticed that part. as far as i know - it works all right

Actually I have just tried scaling my screen with DSR, and yes, the sensitivity is lower. I guess it made no sense for the programmers to keep it consistent.

Well, just double the sensitivity of the mouse! Oh, you can't.

I'll probably just put Windows at 8/11 because that's 2x and it's just windows that it might not be as precise. games use raw input and degree measurements anyway.
