I've been looking for a new graphics card to replace my old r9 380 which has broke (Causes graphical glitches and has started green screening when i start to play games) and i was looking at a pair of gtx 1060's. They are they look the same, except that one is shorter that the other. Is there any other difference for my extra £30 other than a longer cooler?

Thank you.

well the 1060 can probably get away with only one fan anyway, i would assume that any longer 1060's just give you more overclocking headroom.

Thanks. I'm not planning to do overclocking so i can save me my £30

might as well, theres a big market for tiny cards too, what with little shoebox cases and such

Would Personally Go For The £209.99 Option:

- Has A Higher Out-Of-The-Box Clock Speed

- Has More Display Outputs Than The £239.99 Card

Smaller Cards Also Allow For Better Airflow Around The Case, Bigger Cards Do Still Get In The Way Even Though They Have More Fans.

On Pascal factory clock speed doesn't matter at all.

OP: I would recommend trying overclocking. Even a smaller cooler will be fine for at least a small OC. Unless you're installing custom voltage hardware you won't be doing anything to the card in terms of longevity

That's an F in the profile pic
