Help with writing a script?

I have a Corsair K55 Gaming Keyboard with my build (http://www.corsair.com/en-us/k55-rgb-gaming-keyboard-na) and it has four media buttons (record, go back/forward, and pause/start) which are said to be able to control audio without disrupting a game. I was glad to have these on my keyboard, but.. they dont work. Pressing them does nothing, and I was hoping either someone knows a fix, or if I could write a small script to make these work. I have no idea how to write any sort of script or key bind for this, though. Any help?
