Posted April 27, 2017 I'm going to be doing a new build soon, and I want to get an Acer XB271HU as my monitor. I have the money for it, but it still seems a little spendy. I've seen multiple options from newegg and the Acer store where I can buy a recertified model for ~$200 less than normal. I know it's pretty risky buying refurbished electronics, but I'd like to save some money. Anyone know whether it'd be worth it and my chances of getting a lemon that doesn't work? So if it did have backlight bleed before, they most likely fixed it. "There is a fine line between not listening, and not caring. I'd like to think I walk that line every day of my life."
