Should I get a factory refurbished Acer XB271HU?

I'm going to be doing a new build soon, and I want to get an Acer XB271HU as my monitor. I have the money for it, but it still seems a little spendy. I've seen multiple options from newegg and the Acer store where I can buy a recertified model for ~$200 less than normal. I know it's pretty risky buying refurbished electronics, but I'd like to save some money. Anyone know whether it'd be worth it and my chances of getting a lemon that doesn't work?

I would if I am buying fromk a reputable company with a warranty, worst comes to worst I would send it back :)

I'm gonna be buying it directly from the Acer store, so yeah reputable + warranty.

Well i'll be buying it directly from Acer, and it's factory refurb certified. So if it did have backlight bleed before, they most likely fixed it.

Thanks! Also, it looks like the Predator x27 just got announced. Looks like i'm gonna have to trade both kidneys for it :)

You know I have talked about selling a kidney to a few people, they don't think its the best idea. I don't get their thinking, thats $200,000. Seems like a good trade to me :D
