$110USD Headphone recommendation

Hey guys. can someone recommend a pair of over-ear comfy headphones for around $110 usd. I'm going to be mainly using them for music, and some gaming. I prefer sound quality over any other features. Thanks!!

The M40xs are actually better in a lot of ways.

sorry i forgot to mention in my original post. I had the 598 cs for a little while and did not enjoy them. Ended up returning them actually. I think open headphones might be a bit better.

i'm not a fan of the new AKG K240- but I've never heard them in person, I just really hate harmon. IDK what to say here, so I'll ask a question: What kind of sound signature do you want?

to be honest, i'm not too much of an expert on this stuff. I just know I didn't very much like the closed hd 598s and haven't tried many other headphones in that price range before.

I know these are also closed too but apparently it's a really good deal right now for $90. what do you think of them?

I dislike what AKG has become, but those cans seem fairly solid.

IMO, just get the Philips SHP 9500 ($70 on Newegg) or the Sennheiser 558 ($101 on amazon). 

 

The Philips have more treble and "leaner" bass and the Sennheiser are warmer with "thicker" bass. Both headphones sound fantastic with all kinds of music. 

 

If you want something more neutral, also consider the AKG K612 Pro ($124 on amazon). Everything else will sound warmer in comparison. It's really, really hard to find neutral headphones around $100. Most headphones sound warm and have boosted bass & treble. This is probably your best bet.
