SLIHACK still work?

Hey guys
so recently to my great disappointment my lovely asus striker 2 formula board died and i can not find another lga 775 board with sli anyone under $100 because obviously SLI was only on the Nvidia Nforce motherboards and someone posted on one of my ads asking if anyone had one to buy a crossfire board with 2 full speed x16 boards which are much much much cheaper and use hack sli on it. now i would be fine with going straight ahead and doing that however slihack is quite old and im not sure how it would go with the newer drivers.
i need an lga 775 board because its my lan party pc with some of my favorite pc parts: 2 gtx 480's water cooled and an x5460 which is perfectly fine for my needs.

I've never heard of SLI hack.. A quick googling shows that it's just talked about as 'does it still work?'

 

if it was intended for LGA 775, then go ahead..

Sorry the program was called Hypersli but pretty much it forced sli but im not sure it still works with new drivers and such

then use older drivers if it doesn't work with new drivers 

 

try before you abandon it..

i guess its just it would mean i would have have to buy another motherboard if it didnt work, although i guess if it didnt work i could just use the spare board to replace my htpc broken board (2 mobo's in 1 week fml)

Oh yeah i know phew good thing it didnt kill that p4 machine that was sooooo expensive to build, lol i actually do have quite a nice 478 p4 gaming pc built for half life n stuff haha.

I have never used or took part in its development. I don't have Nvidia cards at the moment.

I have only one AMD GPU and it was third hand
