Hello I'm wanting to build a Ryzen 5 build with either the 1500x or the normal 1600. I would like the graphics card to be a cheap 1070 or the msi gtx 1060 gaming x. I would like this build to be at or under 1000 dollars. Thank you.

Location? Gotta be specific lol.

Anything asthetically you want in the build?

Any size preferences?

I don't know what you mean by location, but for the maybe some led strips if there is room in the budget. An atx sized build.

Which country do you live in, since that will affect pricing, sites we can use, etc.

You literally couldn't be more wrong. He specifically asked for an NVidia GPU

do u only need the cpu part and not the moniter part if so :https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7kZXGf

That PSU is trash and absolutely does not belong in a system that costs more than $1k. Also, 960 EVO for what reason?

OP - What are you using the system for?

Do you need keyboard, mouse, headset, speakers, monitor, etc?

If you have a monitor, what monitor will you be using with this system?

Any preferred colour scheme?

I'll be using it for gaming and maybe some editing. I have all of the peripherals. My friend is giving me his monitor but if that doesn't work out any nice monitor.  For the color scheme it really doesn't matter as long as it looks good

That doesn't help us really. I mean, it could be a 720p monitor. In which case, even a GTX 1060 is ridiculously overkill, never mind a GTX 1070. Also, what games? If you're just playing LoL and Minecraft, there's absolutely no need to be spending $1000 or getting anything like a GTX 1070.

Also, is there any specific reason you'd prefer NVidia? Because I'd recommend an RX 480/580 over a GTX 1060, and if you're playing at 1080p, a 480/580 is your best option, for sure.

Well I'll be playing mostly shooters and GTA 5 along with other games like those.  No theirs no particular reason for Nvidia I just want something for 1080 60fps or above
