Hello,

We have two computers upstairs. The first one is mine the other is my moms computer.

She wants me to grab some fotos of the drive, but all of her hardware sucks.

Can i connect it to my pc without any problems. (note: the disk does carry windows 7)

I am sorry for the bad enlish.

Thank you so much for reading.

If the photos are in her user directory (i.e. My Documents) then you might run into an issue with NTFS permissions/encryption so have her move the photos to a general directory on the C: (like create a new folder called "photos" or something and make sure it's not encrypted or marked as read-only).

Other than that, you should be able to plug the drive directly into your PC and read it fine assuming there's no drive encryption like BitLocker enabled.

even with bitlocker it is the room mate they can just unlock it. If you're on the same network you could just share the photos.
