Looking at your profile, I would gues that it goes into another computer. So it then depends on what you want to do with that computer. Do your tasks benefit from having moar, or do they like the memory be faster. That should give you your answer.

Personaly, I'd like moar.

Depends what you'll be using it for, if you're just playing games 8GB will do just fine and the extra speed would benefit them more. But if you're doing content creation or something then you do not want to run out of RAM because the pc will basically stop.

OK so I can either have 8Gb of 2133Mhz or 16Gb of 1333Mhz

What should I use

16gb 1333

because I use a shit ton of ram,

youll never know when you're playing minecraft with 3 servers open ..

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

Speed. Also 8 is fine for gaming.

See Linus' latest video

I'd say 8 is only just enough for gaming now days. If you want to run anything else in the background while running recent AAA titles, you'll be pushing it. I had another stick of RAM die on me recently, leaving me with 8GB, which I'm maxing out quite frequently with games like Ghost Recon Wildlands and GTA V while running a few programs in the background. I'd say we're getting to the point where over 8GB is going to be needed if you don't want to have to close everything else while gaming
