I need help developing a green screen app

HI

I've been wanting to develop a green screen app.

I know they exist but I want to take it a step further, similar to the gorillaz new lenz app where you can augment your surroundings.

I can code well but have never worked with image editing code

Can anybody share a link to a tutorial or if its simple, send me some helpful code or something?

Any help will be appreciated.

And all I can tell you is that image processing, even at the most basic level requires significant amounts of compute power, not to mention a deep understanding of heavy maths (specially for chroma key). Luckily for people like me, there are some very smart folk out there that have developed API's to do all the complicated stuff in the backend. try this for C# http://imageprocessor.org/, not quite sure if it can do chroma keying though.
