Problems:

When i click to open my internet browsers nothing appears and there is no highlight around the logo to show that it is open this is on google chrome and microsoft edge.

If i hit ctrl alt delete i just get a black screen and my mouse cursor hitting enter doesn't do anything i have to press esc to exit.

when i try to do something that requires the admin password the box does not appear but the screen goes gray as if it were open i also do not have a mouse cursor at this point to exit this i have to press ctrl alt del then press esc to exit out of that.

i cannot access the system settings when i click the button from the windows symbol in the bottom left.

windows defender keeps disabling.

All of this started happening after i updated my computer and went to bed then left it for a couple of days came back to do some work and then all of these problems start happening.

The only way i can access these things is if i boot up in safe mode with networking when i do this all of the problems are gone.

Some more info i found:
