Hello,

I will soon have £400 and will be looking at buying two monitors:

- One will be a 1ms gaming monitor preferably Benq esports one.

- And another for good color reproduction, and suitable for photo and video editing.

I would like them to be 24 inch and  i'm fussy when it comes to sleek looks

If you could help it'd be much appreciated.

I suggest you get 2 quality matching IPS monitors. You will not not ice the difference between 5ms and 1ms response times. Something like the Acer H236HL Bid will come in under your budget and look beautiful

By total ball shit you mean amazing when you have multiple monitors together? Your going to have to choose between 2 lower end monitors or 1 high end 400$ like I did with the Asus PA248 or the Dell U2412m. Do you even need perfect color reproduction for video editing, if your just making CoD videos for Youtube then you don't.

Like we said you really, really won't notice the difference between 1ms and 5ms the eye just isn't that good. Anyone that says different is just being fooled by marketing techniques.

I'm looking for the same things, similar budget and live in the UK too, I know sounds weird to me to. Also £400 is $681.65 CA or $647.81 US

I suggest you get 2 quality matching IPS monitors. You will not not ice the difference between 5ms and 1ms response times. Something like the Acer H236HL Bid will come in under your budget and look beautiful

Linus has mentioned this monitor on his channel & the day after on NCIX's channel (this one got me into watching LinusTechTips back in April

I think that's the Canada/US version, back when I saw the videos linked above I did some research and found there are 2 UK versions of this monitor. Going by model number the UM.VH6EE.001UM.VH6EE.005 are available from Amazon UK and going to the Acer UK doesn't really help to compare the two either since a recent revamp <_<

Since I haven't managed to build my new Video-Editing WS yet due to a roof issue, I am still looking around the same budget at £350 for 2 monitors ($596.45 CA or $566.83 US)

So any more help will be welcomed  :)

EDIT: Not trying to takeover thread, just didn't see the point on starting a new one for a very similar question in the "Displays" forum
