RX 500 vs 400?

I was just about to get a RX 480 until I saw these. I've been a die hard Nvidia fan for the past 4 years and I never thought about AMD until literally last week. 

 

Could someone explain the RX 400 and 500 lineup, specifically 580 vs 480? Prices?

There really isnt much difference other than a 6% improvement in clock and memory speeds. the 580 is $10 cheaper though

500 series is just a faster clocked 400 series.

~200Mhz bump in clockspeeds on a good day.

Oh so the 580 would be faster and cheaper? I thought 480 would drop in price. Okay thanks

Although that is assuming you are going 8gb
