Hey guys.

I have been gaming for a long time now. And I did a couple of upgrades ("Upgrades") and I started noticing the surround sound isn't as good as it used to be.

In the past I have been using the 7.1 virtual SS Kraken from Razer and an old hibbityhobhob motherboard I got with my boutique PC-shop PC.
And back then I could pinpoint accurate determine where steps came from in Games like Counter Strike etc.

Now it feels more like things which are at 5 degrees to the right sound more like 30 degrees or something. The whole backside (so more than 90 degrees left and right) sound awfully inaccurate.

I feel like it's the problem with my headset, the HyperX Cloud 2. As it has a small DAC like thing attached to it.

But I was also wondering that maybe Razer Synapse has loaded my old headset settings after 2 years or so? (Even though the product isn't listed in the program.)

I hope any of this is making sense to the reader because I would really like to fix the problem.

Kind Regards,

Roman
PS: My motherboard now is the ASUS Z170 Deluxe
