Which of the 2 is the better configuration?

Combo 1:
- Intel Core i5-6200U @ 2.3 GHz, Turbo Boost up to 2.8 GHz

- Nvidia GeForce 940MX, 2GB GDDR5

Combo 2:

- Intel Core i5-7200U @ 2.5 GHz, Turbo Boost up to 3.1 GHz

- Nvidia GeForce 940MX, 2GB DDR3

Assuming the rest of the specs are exactly the same, which configuration would yield higher framerates in gaming? Thanks! :)

My Daily Driver:

The better configuration is going used and getting an actual quad-core and decent graphics for about the same price.

Used laptops don't really appeal to me. Also, finding a true quad core in brand new laptops for under 2300 MYR (550 USD) is impossible. Sorry for not mentioning I was comparing laptop configurations.

Erm.. if it's possible here, it's possible anywhere.

Take a look at used Thinkpad W530 and T430p, Elitebook 84/570w, etc

Businesses pawn off their used laptops in the bucketloads for cheap to claim it back in tax.

idk

I've tried sourcing over on my local online store and I couldn't find such deals. Not to be rude, but strictly based on the first 2 configurations, which one would be more powerful?

i5 6200U with GDDR5. GDDR3 in a GPU is useless these days.
