I have the Gigabyte GTX 1060 Windforce OC 6GB, and I recently began tuning its overclock. I've pushed it to 2100 MHz on the core, although due to temperature it usually settles around 2088 MHz. The memory is what I'm having problems though. I've managed to get the offset to +450, giving an effective 8.9 Gbps memory data rate, but everyone else online seems to be getting at least 9 Gbps, sometimes even 9.4. Everytime I try to get it higher, its stable in Unigine Superposition, but not in World of Tanks. It either crashes when trying to enter a battle, or freezes up in the set-up interface (the garage for those of you who play) I have my voltage offset to +75%, would increasing this help? Any help would be appreciated. I realize it might be a little anal, as this is a great OC already, but the memory is just bothering me. I hear that on the 1060 memory OC's make a significant difference. Thanks for any help. I'm using MSI Afterburner V 6.5.0, and I'm using the latest Game Ready driver 381.65.

I realize this is an old post but I have like he EXACT same results, memory can't go above 450mhz, unless I want it to crash. I heard online that some Pascal cards have "micron" memory chips which don't overclock as well, while Samsung chips can easily go above 9ghz. I'm guessing we both got macron chips...

I guess so, just the luck of the draw. Its not too big of a deal anyway, mostly just a pissing contest at that point, as OCing the memory further will likely have little to no gains. But still... :)
