Headphone for content creator

I just started my YouTube channel and I need a good headphone for editing and monitoring.

 

the budget is 250-300$.

 

Which is better a cheaper headphone with amp/dac or an expensive one that don't need amp/dac?

I use Sennheiser HD280 PRO.    They work really well.

They are the lower cost end for great value.   There are higher level models at higher price.

If the main use of these cans is for monitoring audio, yes. They're the best monitoring headphones in their price range.

for monitoring YES, for other things it depends on your taste.
