Hi. I have a problem with my pc and don't know what is causing it.
When playing games, specifically on high settings, I get weird rendering. Any fine lines are not drawn properly distant objects have periodic holes in them, hair isn't drawn correctly, and all lines seem jagged. I noticed it mostly in RotTR and GTA V being more demanding games. Below are a few images showing what I'm talking about.

I've managed to rule out the following as causes:
GPU                  -     I first thought it was my gpu (Galax gtx 750 ti 2GB) so I upgraded it recently (to Gigabyte RX 480 4GB)
CPU/MOBO       -     Tested the old gpu in a different but similar system to no prevail

Monitor              -     Used both new and old gpu in my monitor (Samsung SyncMaster S23B300b) and TV (Samsung 40" Smart TV) Both of which are 1080p

Display cables   -     In testing the monitor and tv I used a multiple cables

The only thing that truly remained constant in the testing was my storage drive which runs my OS (Windows 7 sp1) and games.

Could it be my OS, software or because my games are cra(cough)ked?

I have the same issue when I switched to my RX 480 last month but it wasn't there when I was using my 7970. When my NVMe drive arrives and I do a clean install I'll see if it clears up.

I plan on doing a clean upgrade to windows 10, reinstalling all the necessary drivers and software then seeing if it clears up. But my internet is slow (#SouthAfrica) so I'll need to wait a bit. Please let me know what happens.

And I had the problem even with the Gtx 750 ti
