SSD Wiped itself

Hey! soooo my ssd has 0 files on it anymore, they are all gone, but its still get 60GB worth of data on it according to my PC, is there anyway I can get my files back I didn't wipe it its done it its self, really need them!

any way of  doing it from home? or a mates house? i need it pretty soon and i have a mate who lives down the road from me with a PC

Would most likely be safer to take it to a Data Recovery store - otherwise you run the risk of losing the data permanently.

This could be a Windows fault - being an SSD if it was faulted I would expect it to be missing / offline.

I'd try plugging it into another PC to see if it can view the files. Its possibly some sort of registry issue linked to the GUID of the drive in Windows Registry.

 

Possible that the partition table is corrupted - if you look in Disk Management, is it an MBR or GPT drive?
