This is my build log (mostly photos as didn't take many when was building in June due to bad camera).

This build started out as a streamline to my old build which was a mix and match of parts I could afford at the time.

That build was upgraded with a H60SE a 7950 DCUII Top and a new HDD and SSD.

That build has since been sold to my father without the original 560ti Hawk which is to be sold and the 7950 DCUII Top was salvaged for this new rig.

Everything else is new.

It started with the basic parts of my build also running off my old HDD and SSD (WD Caviar Black 1TB and OCZ Vertex 3 60GB).

These parts are Intel Core i5 4670K, ASUS Maximus VI Hero, ASUS 7950 DCUII Top (Boost), H100i (Silverstone AP121), AX 760, Fractal Design Arc Midi R2, 2x4GB Corsair Vengeance Pro RAM, LG Blu-ray Combo Drive, 3x CM Sickle-flow Red LED Fans

This now doesn't have the old HDD and SSD (swapped for Samsung 840 Evo 250GB and a Seagate 2TB SSHD), removed the internal ODD for a external DVD one, swapped the CM fans for the stock fractal fans and added an extra 2x4GB kit of RAM.

The following post will have the now pictures and I will have an extra spots on the forum thread for additional upgrades.

Future Upgrades

Just upgraded to a R9 290. This is now watercooled by a h55 and all fans have been changed to Silverstone AP 121's. The gpu only gets up to 85C during star citizens hanger at 1GHz for an hour or 2 and it idles at around 35C. The CPU is now at 4.2GHz with 1.25V. Finally the last addition is a extra 1TB 2.5" HDD that I gained from my old external hdd which had its usb connector broken from lots of use at LANs.

Thanks for the comments and yeah I found the red led's wash out the colours a bit but none the less it looks good behind the tinted window in person. Might chuck a white strip on the top later on and see if it makes the colours slightly more neutral.

Very nice. I like it a lot!!

Only suggestions I have are to

1. Spray paint the PCI brackets red

2. Change that 120mm exhaust fan to a red LED fan

Possibly going to be getting either a second 7950 if i can get another asus one cheap or moving onto a 290x when aftermarket coolers come out if any better. Other than that probably will keep the same for a while (probably upgrading cpu etc in 2 or 3 gens and gpu every 1 or 2 depending on what performance I want as I may go for 2560x1440 or a 3x 1080p setup) can't be bothered to delid also and only have my cpu at 3.8GHz as I haven't been bothered to get a stable clock and it works well with 3.8GHz all cores with ASUS multicore enhancement) :D and yeah great case and the fans that come with it are decent for the noise and like the size of it cos the rad fits in too but difficult to get to cpu fans pins and cpu power etc lol.
