Way to stream games from PC to laptop without steam in home streaming

As the name suggests I want to stream some games that aren't on steam and wont stream despite being added to the non-steam game list. I'm also avoiding splashtop as it makes my game unplayable. Please help (I also didn't know where to post this so I'm posting it here)

If you had a gpu that supported Nvidia Gamestream, there is a program called Moonlight that can use it to stream your desktop to any client that has java. Other than that I don't know of anything

After a little research I have seen people adding notepad to the Non-Steam games and it seems to work fine

yeah, you can try that. I've never done that before and I don't know how Steam reacts to it but in theory it'll work

Got it to work, kinda annoying how Wordpad cant be clicked tho

Yep, its possible, Im just using it to stream Sims 3 to my laptop thats it
