Are you actually monitoring GPU usage when this occurs? If it's still hitting 99% usage, check clock speeds on both the Core, and Memory.

Yes I am monitoring them and the top card just drops to 86 percent

and in gaming top card drops to 80 percent and causes huge frame loss

My best guess for now would be to do a fresh install of your drivers, and if that doesn't fix it and you've updated them recently, revert back to the older version.

I doubt it, but I suppose it's possible - if somehow the motherboard is not allowing the bandwidth that's being requested(even if it should be there).

Re-enable SLI and see if the situation repeats. Do you have other bridges that you can use?

Would appear it was the base clock being at 102 just dropped it back to 100 and ran test and got 33k not oced just running test again with oc applied

Thanks for the quick responses, godly mentioning clock speed changes got me thinking about jays 2 cents trying to base clock a 4790k and getting funky gpu results

so yeah rolled it back to 100 and pushed the multiplier up instead and got a 36.8k firestrike score (due to running a slightly lower clock and memory than usual for thermal reasons

thank you tho

and add base clock to the diagnostics list if anyone else has an issue :)

Also with the base clock oc in gpuz it read as pcie 2.0 but now it's 3.0 so maby it was choking the bandwidth too
