Good day,

Trying to ask for advice on how many watts (PSU) would run my build would 500w be enough? " ROG Strix 1080 8 OC Gaming VGA , i7 7700 CPU , msi H270 PC MATE mobo , 16gb ram , 1tb hhd )  went to a local store and kept on arguing with me that with this build especially on this graphic card I need atleast a 750w PSU. * not really into lighting, rgbs , just want to run my game fluidly *

You do not need 750w. Unless you're planning to run 2 cards, then you will be OK with a reputable 500W - 650W

CPU: Intel Core i7 3770 @ 3.91 GHz RAM: G.Skill 4x4GB 2133Mhz DDR3 GPU: AMD HD 7970 3GB SSD: Samsung 840 Evo 500GB PSU: Corsair HX620W  Motherboard: Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3 Case: Phanteks P400 Tempered Glass (Black) Monitor: Dell P2412H, Dell 2012H Keyboard: Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Classic Mouse: Logitech G203 Prodigy HDD: WD Black 3TB

Where do you live? How much can you spend?

currently residing in japan , the IT tech was shoving a silver rated local brand that has 750 w(around 90$) . but I was eyeing for the 500 Bronze Crosshair PSU(50-60 , )

PC PARTS ARE 20-30$ more EXPENSIVE UP Here.

Check the PSU tier list in my signature and try to find something from tier 3 or above. I know that PC parts are expensive outside North America but you still have to allocate a proper amount of money to a decent PSU so that you don't end up with a dead unit that might take out other parts.

Can you get EVGA, Seasonic, or Corsair units where you live?

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

The tiers  that  you listed , how does it go by? tier 3 higher , meaning going up to 3-4-5-6-7?

Tier 1 is the best, 7 is worst.
