Touch screen not working

Hi,

I've just recently noticed some issues with the vodafone smart prime 6 phone that I bought al little over a year ago as my first smartphone. The issue began with my screen not responding to any touch inputs when opening to the lock screen, this could be fixed by holding down the power button until it restarted but today nothing I've tried has been able to fix it.

Has anyone experienced this issue or found a fix?
