help me with my flash drive problem

guys my flash drive is broken when i try to copy any thing to it a error window  says the write is protect or somthing sorry i cant remember what is says i tryed to format is and i cant even in ubuntu help me please

Right click in the drive and go to the security tab and disable it.

Well if you just want to format it go to cmd type in the letter associated with the drive fallowed by format.

Or you can try this if you need stuff off of it, right click go to properties>sharing>advanced sharing>permissions> them make sure full control is selected.
