Well then. Just asking though I am getting a resale value for the whole rig at 217 US$ and bought it 3 years ago at 465 US$. Is it a good resale value? The thing is I don't think this processor will squeeze out much performance in today's world:(. I really want to get rid of this rig and build a descent rig but I'm held back financially.

Hey I have an 8320 16gb and m5a99x and I'm not getting even half of what I paid. But it has been a nice ride with it, played every game  I wanted.  but it's time to upgrade. In my case I always buy a good mobo firts a mid tear cpu and enough ram to start, after that more ram and then I decide new cpu or gpu, that's how I do it for lack of founding, but works for me

I also had a nice run with this processor too but present games does'nt agree with it anymore whereas your 8320 can still perform to say the least.

With that mobo and psu no, if you had a 78lmt-s2pv or usb3 board it could have been done without issues though. Back an year or two overclocking it would have given it some more life to it, but now it really isn't worth it... especially because you need a new mobo and psu. My advice is sell it off without the 750ti for now (since it has onboard graphics), and get yourself a cheap intel 4560 pc (or wait for ryzen 3), it will be a decent upgrade.

I am actually thinking of 4560 as well. Only problem is prices are too high here in India. I have to pay like 25% tax on the components.
