ASUS laptop toggle function key

Anyone know how to change the function keys to adjust volume/brightness rather than the F1-F12 keys? I didn't find any options in the BIOS or on the keyboard itself.

The function keys you see are the ones you get.

 

Unless you see some pictures on your arrow keys, that's gonna be it.

 

However, if you want to be like Taran, go set up an AutoHotKey thing and you too can be more efficient and bind functions to arbitrary keys!

Monitor: HP w2207h (1680 x 1050 @ 60hz)

PC Specs:CPU(AMD A8 6500 @3.5ghz), Mobo ( ASUS A68HM-E  FM2+), 1x1600mhz 4gb stick of ram, Random grey PSU, 920gb ssd

Phone: Iphone 5 32gb

Tablet: Ipad 2 16gb

Laptop:Toshiba satelite with 8gb of ram a 480gb ssd and a mobile 2nd gen I3

They are dual function keys where I have to hold fn to change the volume and such. It is just annoying that it takes 2 hands to do that

im so used to this i immediately highlight whatever the OP has

whther it looks like nothing

i still do it because its so natural for me to do it
