Monitor Mount + Ikea Desk

Just wanted your opinion guys on if this is a good idea or a bad idea.

Do you guys think this desk will be able to hold up 4 monitors? I don't want to get the stand because the clamp just looks a lot cleaner and gives me a bit more desk space. Thank you in advance for your opinions. Also, I never know if I am posting in the correct place, sorry.

i considered cheaping out on a desk but so glad i didnt, i got a free 6 foot pine desk from office clearance, i have 2 monitors, a mixer and my rig on it and probably wouldnt put any more on, and that's an inch of solid pine.

 

Ive seen too many decent battlestations sitting on horseshit grade desks and it just scares me man. same logic as why u don't get a cheap PSU. Literally all your expensive stuff depends on it.

Fellow shitty Ikea table user here, I wouldn't try it.

Currently have a hole in mine because I set my PC down a little too hard and one of the feet went through the desk
