anyone have a Viotek GN27C or a Samsung C27FG70. what is your experience with it? i'm interested in a VA Panel just due to it being in between TN and IPS (samsung being 1ms)

I had the opportunity of playing on a VA (LS24F350FH from samsung) and all I can say is that the display is pretty awesome. I, myself can't see any difference between that VA and the IPS I am currently using. Maybe there are some differences when it comes to colors or time of response, but even though VA panels that come with Samsung monitors are, all in all, good enough to satisfy the need of "nice color" and also the high response time you want.

For what will you use the monitor you'd like to buy?

I play games mostly but all my media viewing revolves around my PC (I don't have a TV) it's my AIO (render videos, watch YouTube, games) I get enormous backlight bleed from my monitor and high motion blur. So I figured a 144 monitor was to be invested

If you do not play FPS's like CS:GO, Overwatch etc. you don't really need a 144hz. You'd only feel the difference between a 144 and a 60-75hz when it comes to smoothness inside a game like the ones listed above. For gaming regularly, multimedia and rendering a 60 would be awesome. (That's my opinion ^^)

I do play them from time to time. I'm just trying to eliminate as much motion blur and backlight bleed as possible

Oke^^ Anyway that motion blur and backlight bleed is not a hz related issue. It may be just the fact that the monitor you bought came from a lot that had a few faulty devices. It's just pure luck. I bought a few months ago a Dell 27" 1080p 60hz and since now I didn't have any issues with motion blur or backlight bleeding.(Thank god)

well i know that. I've had the monitor for 9 years. so i would expect the life of the monitor is fading. it just ruins my immersion. i get so much motion blur playing fallout 4 that i stopped playing it. and i even took motion blur off and it was no use.
